Job Overview:

• Receives, inventories, and delivers freight for shipment
• Supports customers with expediting and warehousing services
• Operates loader / forklift as needed
• Performs minor equipment maintenance
• Performs facility and yard maintenance
• Overseas the snow removal contractor and completes snow removal
• Transports personnel as required
• Supports APC subsidiary operations
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Valid Alaska Driver’s license with no major violations in 3 years
Preferred (but not required):
Previous expediting experience
Valid Alaska Class B Commercial Driver’s license with no major violations in 3 years
Current Medical Certificate

Physical Demands:
Works inside and outside in conditions of both hot and cold temperatures and may be exposed to odors, dust, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment and materials. Ability to bend, reach, lift and carry up to 50-75 lbs. frequently. Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb. Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.

Position requirements:
This position is subject to a pre-employment DOT drug & alcohol screening and random drug testing. The applicant must pass a pre-employment criminal background history check.
