Job Overview:
Talarik Research & Restoration Services LLC is a subsidiary of Alaska Peninsula Corporation. We are seeking an Environmental Scientist with 2+ years of experience in environmental restoration projects, preferably for United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), US Air Force or other federal and state government agencies. Prospective candidates must have experience with site investigation, characterization, and remediation projects regulated by ADEC and/or EPA. The work schedule will be a combination of urban and field.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with the Lead Environmental Scientist to execute approved work plans
- Preforms data collection, site investigation, evaluation of data collected, and remediation activities to support project objectives.
- Conducts site reconnaissance, including sampling activities
- Conducts field surveys using mapping to survey grade GPS equipment
- Assists in preparing deliverables with quality supporting documentation (site figures, appendices)
Required Skills:
- Must have experience in environmental fieldwork in remote Alaska including excavation work
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be proficient with Microsoft office products.
- Must be highly organized.
Education & Certifications:
- BS or BA in a science or engineering field.
- Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) Qualified Sampler
Position requirements:
- Pre-employment drug & alcohol screening and/or random drug screen
- Pre-employment criminal background history check

Job Overview:
Under general supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the Accountant is responsible for entering and processing payrolls/certified payrolls. Reviewing customer invoicing and entering received checks in accordance with established processes and procedures for APC and its subsidiaries. The Accountant also performs other accounting-related duties as assigned. This position may also require assisting in project cost accounting on contracts.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Follow standards of procedure for payroll and accounts receivable.
- Generate and distribute accurate and timely invoices to customers.
- Verify that invoices comply with company policies and customer terms.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between invoiced amounts and payments received.
- Record and apply customer payments accurately.
- Monitor and manage outstanding balances, aging reports, and past-due accounts.
- Coordinate with customers to resolve payment discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
Required Skills:
