We are the Aleut, the Dena’ Ina, the Sugpiag, the Yupik. We are a proud, resilient People. We’ve existed from century to century, living from the bounties taken from our sacred Lands, evolving with the changing times, overcoming challenges brought forth by the evolving of time.
We have overcome famine, natural disaster, disease and the advent of the modern era. We have adapted our survival skills into the new modern era and applied those to the culture of our businesses. We have adapted those ancient livelihoods to reflect on the future of our success.
Our land-base ranges from the lower Alaska Peninsula to the Iliamna Lake region. Our lands are plentiful, sacred and rich with opportunity. Our waters are pristine and abundant with life-sustaining purity. The relation between the Land and our People exists in perpetuity.
We are the People of the Alaska Peninsula Corporation.
