March 28, 2022, Anchorage, AK- The Alaska Peninsula Corporation Board of Directors Executive Committee has appointed Jeff Elbie Jr. to fill the board vacancy left by Gerda Kosbruk. We would like to thank Gerda for her years of service on the APC Board, and welcome Jeff as the newest member of the Board of Directors.
The APC Executive Committee of the Board of Directors selected Jeff Elbie Jr., out of the eligible applications APC received following the
solicitation posted on the APC webpage on March 9th, 2022. Jeff brings to the table unique experience which will enhance the corporation and serve our shareholders.
Jeff is currently a Homicide Detective with 17 years of experience at the Anchorage Police Department and a tribal member of South Naknek who resides in Anchorage, AK. Jeff spends his summers in his hometown, South Naknek, where he is both the owner and Captain of F/V Charlie Boy! In addition to his work experience, Jeff also graduated with honors from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Justice and a minor in Arctic Survival.
