Tana Myers, CFO

Chief Financial Officer Tana MyersTana Myers is a descendant of South Naknek, where her grandparents spent their marriage as caretakers of Dimond O cannery. Her childhood was spent in Sand Point, AK while her summers were spent in both South Naknek and Egegik where she commercial fished with family.

As CFO Tana is responsible for the management of corporate finance and oversight of APC’s accounting process for all subsidiaries. She has five years of wide-ranging finance and accounting experience, having worked at the statewide Native health consortium and other Alaska Native Corporations.

She’s a graduate of Bristol Bay Borough High School and attended college at the University of Alaska Anchorage where she earned her degree in accounting as well as from the dental assistant program. Now that she’s achieved her post-secondary educational goals, she returns home to visit family and harvest subsistence-foods during the summer months, an activity she cherishes and considers to be her favorite past-time now that she raises her family in Anchorage.  Her favorite hobby is putting away fish, caribou, moose, and berries. Tana presents new energy into the management team and represents in part, a new generation of descendants coming into APC.
