Anchorage, AK, January 30, 2019- Eligible shareholders of the Alaska Peninsula Corporation may seek nomination to run on the Board approved slate for the Board of Directors by filing a completed Proxy Statement Questionnaire, resume and 3 letters of recommendation with the Nominating Committee, APC Board. The Nominating Committee, composed of those directors not running for the Board, will interview all candidates, and recommend the top 3 candidates to the Full Board. Only those persons nominated by the Board of Directors will be included on the proxy solicited by the Board. You may obtain an application form by clicking here or by calling APC directly. Shareholders who are not selected as nominees or who wish to run for the Board and not apply through the Nominating Committee process may run as independent candidates. To do so, you MUST comply with Alaska law requiring disclosure to the State of Alaska, Department of Commerce and Regional Affairs, Division of Banking and Securities. The Division’s website https://www.commerce.alaska.gov/web/dbs/ancsa.aspx, contains information for independent candidates. Failure to comply with the requirements of the Division can result in fines and other penalties. Therefore, if you wish to run as an independent candidate for the Board of Directors of Alaska Peninsula Corporation, it is very important that you review and comply with the rules discussed.
